TYLER, Texas — Documents show three people were arrested last week following an undercover prostitution sting in Smith County.

Tyirese Dews, Tisha Lee Nations and Damian Borens were all charged with promotion of prostitution Thursday and early Friday, and booked into the Smith County Jail.

According to arrest affidavits, the officers posed as “Johns” who were looking for “dates” with prostitutes. The intention of the operation was to find victims and suspects related to human trafficking.
