In response to stories and comments on the rise of COVID-19 cases in Smith County …

“Considering all deaths since January are being retroactively coded as COVID-19, the numbers are skewed and to ignore this fact is more dangerous than the virus, which doesn’t kill anyone. The secondary bacterial infection that is pneumonia-like, but not pneumonia. The bacterial infection responds well to Zythromycin and Hydrochloriquin, but Dr Fauci would rather people die so hospitals can collect $36k per death and he can once again make millions chasing a vaccine. Stats don’t lie, people do. Live healthy and live long. Be a glutton, sloth that smokes and you die. Protect the nursing homes and go back to work.”

Honey Adrain Hurst

100,000 people have NOT died from this virus. They have passed from other causes and the death rate falsely inflated. Use the brain God have you. They admitted to falsely inflating the numbers on national television.”

Kelly Phillips Wallace

“Way more people die yearly of the flu. This virus isn’t as deadly as the flu.”

Jennifer Ballard Joiner

“I know people that died from it. It’s not a joke …. When it comes knocking at your door, you won’t be near the statistical expert you think you are. Covid-19 causes ARDS, your lungs fill with fluid, your blood O2 level drops and when it drops too low you die of Cardiac arrest, Liver or Renal Failure…..You literally choke to death….. It’s still a Covid-19 cause of death.”

Robert Lane

“Media fear mongering. They intentionally tanked the economy to hurt Trump. Now that people are waking up and it’s basically over, they’re on to the next thing. Riots and looting. Once that’s done and Trump’s re-elected, they’ll do something else. They will literally stop at nothing.”

In response to a story that a Supreme Court ruling protects LGBT people from discrimination in employment.

“Wonderful. All people deserve to keep their jobs and career that they’ve worked hard to gain.”

Allison Mosley

“Great, another demographic, or made up demographic, that can get the job not based on qualifications because it will be another group that can claim they are being discriminated against.”

Stacie Knight

“LGBTQ people exist. That’s not a made up demographic. And I think it’s only fair that they shouldn’t lose their job bc of it.”

In response to stories about Black Lives Matter rallies in Tyler …

“Yes, ALL lives matter and I may have had to work harder as a woman but the color of my skin never held me back. God tells us to love one another. Period. I love you.”

Nan Moore

“Everyone should be treated the same. We are human beings. We all have the right to be here. I don’t care what color you are as long as u respect me i respect you. If god want us the same he would made us the same. We all need to quit fighting and get along. We are brothers and sisters in Christ. We need to pull together and stand as one.”

Misty Berry Marshall

“Black Americans are more likely than white Americans to be arrested. Once arrested, they are more likely to be convicted, and once convicted, they are more likely to experience lengthy prison sentences.”

Boyce Johnson

“I support you, I see you, I value you, and I wish for your personal safety and true change every day. This has been a long time coming, as a citizen you have the right to protest for a better country and community and instill real change for the black community. Stay safe, and stay hydrated please.”
