Lindale hosting District 15-4A track meet

Lindale’s Eagle Stadium is hosting the District 15-4A Track and Field Championships this week.
The running finals are scheduled for Thursday.
The schedule for Thursday is: 400 relay, 9 a.m.; 800-meter run, 9:20 a.m.; 100/110 hurdles, 9:40 a.m.; 100-meter dash, 10 a.m.; 800 relay, 10:20 a.m.; 400-meter dash, 10:40 a.m.; 300-meter hurdles, 11 a.m.; 200-meter dash, 11:20 a.m.; 1.600-meter run, 11:40 a.m.; 1,600 relay, 12:10 p.m.
The field events and running prelims were originally set to begin on Wednesday but were moved to Tuesday due to possible inclement weather.
Competing schools are Lindale, Van, Canton, Brownsboro, Athens, Mabank and Kemp.

The District 10-5A Track and Field Championships were scheduled for Wednesday and Thursday at Wildcat Stadium in Whitehouse but were moved to just Tuesday due to possible inclement weather.
Competing teams are Whitehouse, Tyler, Jacksonville, Hallsville, Marshall, Lufkin, Nacogdoches, Texas High and Mount Pleasant.
