ET Baseball: Spring Hill, West Rusk, Beckville, Elysian Fields earn wins

S. HILL 7, CARTHAGE 1: CARTHAGE — Spring Hill took control with six runs in the top of the third inning on the way to a 7-1 win over the Carthage Bulldogs.
Cayden Rhodes pitched 6.2 innings for Spring Hill to earn the win. He struck out five, walked seven and allowed one earned run. Mason Barnes fanned the only batter he faced.
Trent Thompson doubled twice and drove in two runs and Grant Burton added a triple and two RBI for the Panthers. Eli Emery doubled and singled. Travis Allen tripled, singled and drove in a run. Trenton Beall singled and plated one run, and Rhodes singled and chased home one run.
Cade Ross pitched five innings in the loss for Carthage, striking out three, walking four and giving up a pair of earned runs. Alex Welk struck out one, walked one and allowed five earned runs in two innings.
Cale Preston tripled and drove in the lone Carthage run.
W. RUSK 6, W. OAK 2: WHITE OAK — Cole Jackson turned in a dominant performance on the mound for West Rusk, striking out eight with no walks and one earned run allowed in a complete game as the Raiders notched a 6-2 win over White Oak.
Jaxon Johnson singled twice and drove in a run for the Raiders. Troy Hunley doubled and drove in a run, and Gunner Harp, Caiden Landon, Jason Reasoner and Kam Brown all chipped in with RBI.
Logan Langewisch struck out eight, walked four and gave up one earned run in six innings for White Oak.
Brady Greenwood singled twice and drove in a run, and Tyson McKinney added a double and an RBI for White Oak.
TROUP 7, TATUM 6: TATUM — Troup used a six-run third inning to take the lead, and added a run in the top of the sixth for the win in a 7-6 victory over the Tatum Eagles.
Tucker Anthony struck out two with no walks and no earned runs allowed on two hits in four innings for Tatum. Logen Tover fanned two, walked one and gave up five earned runs in three innings.
Jaxen Prince and Cayden Tatum both singled twice, and Cooper Whiteus doubled for Tatum. Prince, Kody Hines, Colt Bullard, Tristin Berry and Dustin Henigan all drove in runs.
BECKVILLE 11, CARLISLE 1: BECKVILLE — Coy Stephens homered and drove in four runs, Jackson Lambright added two singles and three RBI and the Beckville Bearcats rolled to an 11-1 win over Carlisle.
Aiden Brantley doubled, singled and drove in a run for Beckville. Brock White doubled, Baker Seegers tripled and Aiden Harris added an RBI.
Reed Chapman handled the pitching chores for the Bearcats, striking out six, walking three and allowing one earned run on four hits in five innings.
E. FIELDS 3, WASKOM 2: ELYSIAN FIELDS — The Elysian Fields Yellowjackets put together four straight singles in the bottom of the eighth to walk off with a 3-2 win over Waskom.
Spencer Scott opened the inning with a single, and Nate Hopkins came on to run. Nunu Kennedy and Zane Childs followed with singles to load the bags, and Brody Parker ended it with a single to plate Hopkins.
Kennedy finished with four singles for the Yellowjackets. Childs had two hits, and Garrett Roos doubled. Parker went five innings on the mound, striking out eight and walking six while giving up one earned run. Kennedy fanned three, walked two and allowed one earned run in two innings, and John Bevers struck out all three batters he faced in one inning of action.
