Jane Pauley lecture at Cowan Center canceled

A lecture at the UT Tyler Cowan Center scheduled for Tuesday night has been canceled.
The Distinguished Lecture Series featured Alex Guarnaschelli in October and was set to continue with Jane Pauley on Feb. 25. However, UT Tyler officials announced Tuesday morning that due to a family emergency, Pauley was unable to travel to Tyler for the scheduled event.
The lecture has been canceled, the university said.
Pauley began her role at “CBS News Sunday Morning” in 2016. Pauley’s career also includes working as an anchor on the “Today” Show and “Dateline NBC.”
