Texas Gov. Greg Abbott will attend a fundraising event for the Rusk County Republican Party on Thursday at The Landing at Joshua Farms, 14278 Texas Highway 322 N. in Kilgore.

The Rusk County Republican Party s Lincoln-Reagan Dinner will feature Abbott and will be hosted by state Sen. Kevin Eltife, R-Tyler, and state Rep. Travis Clardy, R-Nacogdoches, and special guest Trent Ashby.

A private reception begins at 6:15 p.m. with dinner at 7 p.m.

Dinner is $75 per person or $150 per couple. Host level seating is available, which includes entry into the private reception. Lone Star Club level, $250, includes one seat for dinner and the reception. Texas Club level, $500, includes two seats and two entries. Capitol Club level, $1,000, includes half a premier table, five seats, and five entries. Governor s Club level, $2,500, includes dinner for 10 and 10 entries for the private reception.

CORNYN TO SPEAK AT REPUBLICAN DINNER

U.S. Sen. John Cornyn, R-Texas, will be the guest speaker at the Smith County Republican Party’s 26th Annual Fundraising Dinner.

The event is scheduled from 6-8 p.m. Friday, April 10 at Hollytree Country Club. The event will include a private VIP reception with Sen. Cornyn prior to the dinner. The event is open to the public with single tickets and sponsorships available.
