Law enformcement officers investigate at the site of a shooting in the 2400 block of Plume Drive. One man was injured and police are searching for the alleged shooter, Samuel Isai Oretega.

Tyler police continue their investigation into a shooting that left one man critically injured and police searching for the shooter. 

Don Martin, the department’s spokesman, said the shooting occurred about 5:30 a.m.at a home in the 2400 block of Plume. 

Martin said the two men involved in the shooting had been drinking when they had a dispute.

Martin said the shooter fired several rounds striking the victim in the driveway of the home.

Police crime scene units were on scene and were taking evidence as detectives spoke with neighbors to gather any eye witness accounts.
