Cash, cigarettes stolen in overnight convenience store robbery

SMITH COUNTY (KYTX)- Smith County Sheriff’s Office received a call at 2:49 a.m. today from a Food Fast store clerk who reported a robbery.
The convenient store is located at 1182 HWY 64 W, Lt. Gary Middleton tells our news partners at KYTX CBS 19.
The store clerk was stocking shelves when two men walked in wearing all black and had a white bandana covering their faces. They walked in and demanded money. The robbers took the cash out of the register and stole a few packs of cigarettes.
The suspects ran out and the Smith County Sheriff’s Office is still investigating.
