The Smith County Republican Club will meet at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at Traditions Restaurant, 6205 S. Broadway Ave. in Tyler.

Plans for the annual club dinner with guest speaker U.S. Sen. John Cornyn will be discussed.

Club assignments for dinner preparations will be made. The dinner is scheduled for April 10 at Hollytree Country Club.

The meeting is open to the public and begins with a 6 p.m. meet and greet.
