A Homewood Suites Hotel will be built at 3104 Golden Road by Hemlata, LLC for $6.5 million. The four-story hotel will be 80,529 square feet. Contractor is Lodgic Development of Webster.

Care First medical clinic will add treatment rooms to the facility at 1007 Gentry Parkway. The 1,400 square foot project is estimated at $65,000. Contractor is Kelly Cook Design of Dallas.

Chik-fil-A is building a restaurant at the student dormitory at Tyler Junior College. The project is estimated at $509,000 for 918 square feet. Contractor is HGR General Contractors.
