A Dallas-area photographer who did senior portraits for some graduates in East Texas must serve 20 years in prison for producing child pornography.
Todd Fleming, 54, of McKinney, has been sentenced to 240 months in federal prison by U.S. District Judge Michael H. Schneider. Fleming, a photographer was indicted on 24 counts of sexual exploitation of children and one count of possession of materials involving the sexual exploitation of minors.
Court documents show that between 1999 and 2007 Fleming “knowingly used, persuaded, induced, enticed and forced eight minor females to engage in sexually explicit conduct for the purpose of producing visual depictions of such conduct.”
Fleming in 2013 was indicted on two dozen counts of sexual exploitation of a child and one count of possession of child pornography. He pleaded guilty to just one count involving several minors. The other charges were dropped.
Prosecutors say Fleming took high school senior photos and other images for some students in the Tyler Independent School District.
