The Cherokee County Republican Club will meet at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at Hong Kong Buffet, 1644 S. Jackson St. in Jacksonville.  The guest speaker will be Cherokee County Court-at-Law Judge Janice Stone.

The meeting is open to the public.

Grassroots America — We the People will meet at 11:30 a.m. Friday at Lakeview Church of the Nazarene, 10818 University Blvd. in Tyler.

Retired Navy hovercraft pilot and motivational speaker Mike Lee will be the guest speaker. Lee will discuss how and why America remains exceptional and the greatest force of good in the world.
