CORSICANA — Frankston senior Ozzie Buckner knocked down two free throws with 15 seconds remaining and the Indians survived two 3-point attempts in the closing seconds to defeat Whitney 37-34 Saturday in their Class 3A area basketball playoff game.

Justice Bean led Frankston (25-6) with 15 points while Kendrick Rogers chipped in 11.

Frankston advances to face Rockdale in the regional quarterfinals on Tuesday at a time and place still to be determined.
