(KYTX) – DPS officials confirm a major accident occurred involving an 18-wheeler stuck in a ditch on I-20 and Highway 14.

Westbound lanes on 1-20 are being shut down to help the truck to get out.

A multi-vehicle accident in the westbound lane also occurred near the 595 mile marker shutting it down as well.

Injuries are unknown at this time

Traffic is being rerouted in those areas.

Emergency crews advise everyone to stay off the roads overnight unless absolutely necessary.
