Boys HS Hoops Rdp, Feb. 17: Bears sweep 14-4A

BROWNSBORO — The Brownsboro Bears topped off their District 14-4A boys basketball championship with a 77-51 win over the Van Vandals on Tuesday.
The Bears finish as district champions with an unbeaten record (8-0). Overall, Brownsboro is 24-4.
Clay McCoy led the Bears with 13 points, while Will Bailey and Logan Compton contributed 12 points apiece.
Layton Myers led the Vandals with 15 points, while Nick Wilkerson added 14.

Hawks clinch second place in 16-2A
HAWKINS —The Hawkins Hawks clinched second place in District 16-2A by defeating Ore City 73-61 Tuesday.
Lavon Davis scored 25 points and Jason Ford added 19 points for the Hawks. Derek Craft contributed 13 points for Hawkins.
