Rain has doused the East Texas region for the past 24 hours and, according to our local forecast, there may be more to come.
According to CBS 19 meteorologist John Adams, East Texas has received slightly more than 1 inch of rain and may see snow flurries tonight. The high today was 44 degrees and is expected to drop into the 20s tonight.
Temperatures are expected to be about 28 degrees in the morning and rise to 47 degrees by tomorrow afternoon. East Texas is expected to dip into the mid 30s throughout the rest of the week.
No weather-related automobile wrecks have been reported today in Tyler, and Adams said traffic conditions remain clear.
