ALBA — Macie Arrington, senior standout at Alba-Golden High School, signed to play basketball at The University of Texas at Tyler, Lady Panthers coach Brad Gibson announced.

Arrington signed on Friday during a ceremony at A-G Library.

Arrington is a two-time All-East Texas first-team selection as well as Texas Girls Coaches Association all-state. She is also a two-time All-Texas Association of Basketball Coaches all-region team.

The Lady Panthers have clinched the District 14-3A girls basketball championship with one game to play. A-G is 13-0 in league play and will play at Winona on Tuesday.
