Mother-son, daddy-daughter dances held tonight, tomorrow

The Tyler Parks and Recreation Department will be hosting its sixth annual Mother and Son Dance from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. today at the Glass Recreation Center. In addition, the Daddy and Daughter Dance will be tomorrow night from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the same location.
The night will consist of music, refreshments and bonding through dance. A professional photographer will be on site to commemorate the event and provide photos for purchase. And, TylerPaper.com’s FocusInOn.Me photographers will be there both nights, as well.
Boys age four to 12 years and girls age nine to 12 years old are able to participate in the dances. The attire is semi-formal.
Tickets may be purchased in advance at the Glass Recreation Center for $9 per person or $10 at the door on the day of the dance, if not sold out. Only 300 tickets are available for each dance.
