PICAYUNE, Miss. (AP) — One man is dead and another is behind bars after a fight between co-workers at a Mississippi motel led to a stabbing.
Jeremy Magri, a spokesman for the Picayune Police Department, tells The Sun Herald officers were dispatched to a motel about 1 a.m. Wednesday to a report of two men down on the ground covered in blood.
Magri says officers found 38-year-old Albert Leblanc Jr., of Vidor, Texas, and 25-year-old Kyle Vidalier, of Orange, Texas, lying in the parking lot.
He says Vidalier allegedly stabbed Leblanc several times.
Pearl River County Coroner Derek Turnage said Leblanc died about 8 hour later from his wounds.
Magri says Vidalier has been charged with murder, and his bond set at $250,000.
It was unclear whether Vidalier has an attorney.
