Friends of the Arboretum in Quitman will have a Bare Root Tree Sale on Valentine’s Day.

The sale will take place at the Stinson House at Quitman Arboretum in Quitman. The arboretum is located behind Gov. Jim Hogg City Park on Texas Highway 37.

The sale includes flowering dogwood, shumard oak, tupelo blackgum and flowering red bud.

The event includes instruction on how to plant and care for the trees. The trees will be $1.50 each or 10 for $12.

All proceeds will benefit the Quitman Arboretum & Botanical Gardens.
