TIFTON — The Tift County Board of Commissioners has elected to reschedule their November meetings.

With the understanding that their normal meeting schedule would overlap with both Election Day and Veterans Day, county commissioners moved to reorganize their meeting dates to avoid this conflict during their Oct. 14 meeting.

Originally, the board’s workshop meeting was set to be held Nov. 5, while the regular meeting would be Nov. 11.

To avoid the conflict with the two events, commissioners have decided to instead host their workshop on Nov. 4, the first Monday of the month, and their regular meeting on Nov. 12, the second Tuesday of the month.
