KENNESAW – Tift County’s softball season ended Thursday with a 4-1 game three loss at North Cobb.

The Lady Devils No. 4 seed out of Region 1 facing the Region 5 champions, had split Wednesday contests.

North Cobb had a 3-0 lead through two frames Thursday before adding their fourth run in the fourth.

Tift’s lone run came in the fifth when Braylin Dorden singled in Kinsley Tawzer.

Dorden had two hits in the finale. Tift had six total. Lily Robinson struck out five in a complete game performance.

The Lady Devils won 18 games in 2024, their most in a decade.
