It’s come to this. Finally.

The presidential campaign is not over — we’ve got almost a month of political ads left to go — but now, you can finally do something about it.

Former President Donald Trump has had his say, and will continue to until the last ballot is counted.

President Joe Biden had his say until he dropped from the race, and Vice President Kamala Harris has had her say since she took over the Democratic Party nomination.

A variety of third-party candidates have had their say, although it’s been hard to hear them. Libertarian Chase Oliver and Green Party candidate Jill Stein are still valid candidates on the Georgia ballot. Independents Claudia De la Cruz and Cornel West will be on the ballot too, but a judge has ruled votes for them won’t count because they didn’t follow all the rules when they qualified.

But after all these months of hearing from the candidates, now you get to have your say.

Early voting began Tuesday.

You can cast your ballot between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, plus 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturdays, Oct. 19 and 26, at the County Board of Elections Office, also called the Old Gym, 222 Chestnut Ave.. Early voting ends Nov. 1.

And, of course, Election Day will be 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Nov. 5 at the usual polling locations.
